SELF-DISCOVERY & EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE WORKSHOPS

These days many of experience a sense of confusion about our place in the world. We all have aspects of our lives that we'd like to improve, such as a new perspective on an urgent issue, better decision-making skills, more self confidence, and clarity on next steps.

We need help observing our mind and behaviour, because it’s hard to step outside ourselves, and be able to suggest changes that would lead to improvement.

In our workshops, we work together to observe and reflect on what is working, and what isn’t working. Using different techniques from NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Design Thinking and Mindfulness meditation, we look for ways to get a new perspective, access strengths we already have within us and shift the way we look at our problems.

We don't really understand our minds.

There is a high price to pay for the failure to look within and face our difficult thoughts and emotions. We have become masters of escaping them, looking for distractions, or a new corporate ladder to climb.

Feelings left unexamined grow into frustrations. We end up making choices without even knowing why. We chase the wrong things and people, work jobs that drain our energy, and go on holidays we don’t really enjoy.

Then we end up being surprised by our physical symptoms, illnesses, anxieties, irritability, frustration, and the feeling of being lost or stuck. Through meditation and creative questioning, we begin to know ourselves better.

TESTIMONIALS

I recently attended an amazing workshop about designing your career life. It was taught with confidence, enthusiasm and knowledge and some very interesting insights and recommendations. It fired really great discussion between the participants and everyone felt pretty confident about their dream career scenario towards the end of the workshop. I really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to any of my friends! It really does open your eyes a little wider to a lot of things you haven't seen before!

This workshop is a game changer! Within several sessions I was able to peel off layers of personal limitations, imposed expectations around the idea of success and discover a true fulfilling authentic path that is in the alignment with my true self.

Ivana gently walks you through the process by asking the right questions, challenging your belief system, guided meditations and helping you connect with your desires.
I cannot be more thankful for this experience!

Ivana's ability to pair big picture thinking with targeted situational insight makes her a person you want to meet if you feel like there's a gap between where you are and where you want to be. I participated in a Design Thinking + Career workshop run by Ivana and I left with a clear list of action items that I started tackling the next day. Through a blend of personal awareness, blunt honesty and reflective exercises, Ivana helped me cut through what I was telling myself to find what I really wanted. A delight to interact with, I would recommend any of Ivana's events or workshops.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE 101: CONFIDENCE THROUGH SELF-AWARENESS SERIES

Emotional Intelligence is the capacity to be aware of, manage and express your emotions, and handle relationships (interpersonal and business) wisely and empathetically. As times get more complex and the pace of change accelerates, people are feeling more anxious, stressed, fearful and unstable. In this current climate, as business leaders, we are being asked to be thoughtful and act fast.

Before anyone can be great at anything, they must be great at knowing themselves. Life happens. You internalize it. Your understanding of that experience is what we call an awareness of self. When you disassociate from your thinking in order to observe your thoughts, you are able to identify and change the negative patterns that hold you back.

These workshops will help you increase your understanding of self and others so that you can be in control of your state, behaviour and your actions. The tools that you will learn will help you uncover your blind spots and assumptions, see new perspectives, and get reacquainted with strengths you already possess within you.

This series is perfectly suited for corporate settings and covers topics such as:

  • Communicating with clarity and impact

  • Improving leadership skills and influencing others

  • Reframing problems to generate better outcomes

  • Tackling anxiety and stress through self awareness

  • Defining your value and unique skillset to improve employee retention and engagement

  • Improving your pitching skills

  • Having more self-confidence in decision making

  • Developing better relationships by having the ability to manage conflict and lead others

  • Developing the ability to read and understand people

UNCOVER YOUR PASSION AND DESIGN A CAREER YOU LOVE

Many of us are making a trade-off between earning enough money to pay the bills and doing the work that inspires and fulfills us. Perhaps there is a better way to design your life so that you can do the work that you love and pay the bills at the same time. For some of us this may sound like an overwhelming task if we’ve had a hard time even articulating what our passion is.

Our goal is to help you on this journey of self-discovery and question some of the assumptions you have made to date, with the hope of changing your perspective to something more useful. We work to define the sweet spot where your passions, your skills and ability to pay the bills intersect. We look at our work from multiple angles, through different frames and perspectives in order to uncover more information and let in new choices.

We use guided meditation to connect with our subconscious mind and our desires; principles of Design Thinking to uncover new insights through guided questioning; NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) exercises to identify what is already working, build on it, develop alternatives and connect dots you never thought about connecting.
