We spend our lives in search of ourselves. As if 'it' was something outside of us, we search for it everywhere except within ourselves - in our careers, our relationships, our status.
The real journey is inward.
At Nomad, we design products & experiences that expand the mind & inspire self- discovery through Self-Awareness and Emotional Intelligence workshops and spiritual wellness retreats.
We help individuals step outside their current experience to gain new awareness, in order to rewrite their story in a way that opens up new choices and possibilities. Using the principles of Design Thinking, Mindfulness Meditation and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), we help you become emotionally intelligent and self-aware. All the answers you seek are within you - we just help you find them.
The more self-aware you are, the more you are able to understand others because you will see some of their behaviors in your own behaviors. This, in turn, will lead you to a greater acceptance of others, empowering you to effectively lead and motivate people, and develop mutually beneficial relationships.
My name is Ivana and I created Nomad. I am an NLP Master Practitioner, a Meditation teacher certified by the Canadian Yoga Alliance, an experienced design thinker and workshop facilitator, and a former NCAA tennis player. I’m curious and open-minded and look for experiences that allow me to explore the aspects of myself that I have long forgotten. I’ve been on a journey of uncovering my truth and differentiating from the opinions of others. I want to create tools to help others to activate change and come out of hiding. I’m inspired by experiences: music, books, art, nature, yoga, meditation, and travel. Personal discovery and learning are a never-ending process.
I look for new ways to tackle problems creatively, and I try to use a variety of approaches, whether it be through the lens of NLP or design thinking. I believe that looking at problems from different angles, positions, perspectives, or with an entirely new lens allows more information to come into our awareness, generating new ideas and even re-defining problems. I welcome experimental and non-routine types of options and want to provide myself and others with enough creative space to express our uniqueness.
